07.02 3rd DAY IN CAMBODIA
[Siem Reap]
It was a sunny day in the morning, we head our way toward Angkor Wat—the most famous architecture of all Angkor area. The guesthouse owner recommended us leaving this site till the very last day, or else we would have spoiled appetite for other sites. But naughty girls and boys we are, we can’t wait to visit “the most amazing of all.” Well, it was breathtaking. Absolutely breathtaking.
Lovely talk with monk on the very sacred top of Angkor Wat, and lots of self-shooting(自拍??) in the ancient ghost palace. I would feel alone if I were traveling alone, but with these lovely friends, one’s curiosity does affect another. I could spend three whole days in a dead city like this and still find it not enough! May it be the spirit of the architecture, may it be of the beauty word sighed by others, the old dead town has its own melody played by the little sales-beggar inside the wat, with their whispering talking sound. And the breeze touching the last dip of sunshine was just as exotic as the hand-made bracelet by the Cambodian girls. Wonder three days in this town is just not enough.
